I’m writing this testimonial on behalf of Christa, and her team, who helped me out tremendously in my time of need and despair because we lost our Dear Mother right before Easter here in Shelbyville. I had planned on coming up from Florida on a Friday, but got the call on a Wednesday that she was drawing near to going to heaven so I had just enough time to throw my dress shoes in a bag, get to the airport with minutes to spare, and get home within 1 hour of her passing. She was surrounded by family and granddaughters which fulfilled her last wishes, and gave everyone in the family some solace knowing we were there when she went to see Jesus. Then comes the hard part, but it wasn’t so hard because even though I didn’t have time to pack a suit for the funeral, my brother Bruce told me about “Elegant L” in downtown Shelbyville,,, which he said could help me out with renting a suit from them. I visited the store not knowing what to expect, never rented a suit b4, & to my pleasant surprise, Christa put me at ease from the start and showed me a very nice selection of suits for this occasion. I selected a nice Italian grey suit, she performed the measurements, and I arrived at the store on Tuesday when she said it would be ready. Sure enough, the suit was ready and Christa asked me to try it on to make sure it fit. The sleeves were just a little long, but she was able to alter them right there and got me all ready for Mom’s funeral ceremony. It was very comforting to me while greeting people at her viewing that I hadn’t seen in a long time telling me that I looked like a million bucks and it was all because of the Elegant L and the help of Christa, & her team that helped make me feel a little less stressed during the viewing and then at Mom’s Funeral Mass at Saint Joes the next morning. As my story comes to a close here, I just want to wholeheartedly recommend Christa and the folks at the Elegant L for doing an outstanding job with my suit rental and making it stress free!
